These GTCS apply to any remote order placed between BeforeCode (hereinafter “we”, “our”, or “us”) and any person making a purchase on the platform (hereinafter the “Customer” or “you”).
Before placing any order, the Customer acknowledges having read these GTCS, the essential characteristics of the offers provided, the applicable prices, and the payment conditions.
These GTCS supplement BeforeCode’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The purpose of these GTCS is to define the conditions under which BeforeCode sells its digital offers through its platform.
The products and services offered are digital content or digital services provided online, without any physical medium.
BeforeCode offers several types of digital purchases related to the use of its editor.
Depending on the offers available at the time of the order, the Customer may purchase, in particular:
The essential characteristics of each offer are presented to the Customer before order confirmation, particularly on offer pages, payment interfaces, and confirmation modals.
Before any payment, the Customer is informed of the exact content of the purchase, its price, and the concrete effect of this purchase on their account or on the relevant project.
Offer prices are indicated in euros (€), unless otherwise stated at the time of payment.
The applicable prices are those displayed on the platform on the day of the order.
BeforeCode reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the price charged to the Customer is the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
Any order placed on BeforeCode constitutes an order with an obligation to pay.
Before final confirmation, the Customer may review the details of their purchase and correct any errors.
The order is considered validly placed once the payment session has been initiated and payment has been confirmed by the payment service provider.
Payment is made online through a secure third-party payment service provider.
BeforeCode does not directly store the Customer’s full bank card details.
Payment is due immediately at the time of order.
Purchases made on BeforeCode are executed digitally, directly on the Customer’s account or on the relevant project.
Subject to payment confirmation, the effects of the purchase are applied automatically or within the best possible technical timeframe.
A purchase may, in particular, add project credits, unlock a project, or extend the capabilities of an existing project.
Project credit packs allow the Customer to obtain a defined number of credits usable on the platform.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of order, each credit allows the creation of one project according to the usage rules in force on BeforeCode.
Purchased credits do not constitute electronic money and may only be used within the services offered by BeforeCode.
Project unlock allows, when such an option is offered by BeforeCode, a locked project to be reopened according to the rules displayed at the time of purchase.
The exact conditions of an unlock, including its duration, effects, and limits, are specified before order confirmation.
Project extension allows, when available, an additional capacity to be added to the relevant project.
Unless otherwise stated before payment, a project extension may, in particular, add an additional page as well as extra editing time.
The exact content of each extension and its price are summarized for the Customer before payment confirmation.
Validated purchases may appear in the Customer’s billing or history area.
BeforeCode may retain the information necessary to prove transactions, in compliance with its legal obligations and Privacy Policy.
The payment confirmation issued by the payment service provider and BeforeCode’s technical records may serve as proof of the transaction.
Where applicable regulations provide for it, consumer Customers generally have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
However, certain purchases of digital services or digital content may, depending on applicable law, be excluded from the right of withdrawal or be subject to a specific regime when their execution begins before the end of the legal period, provided that the Customer has received the necessary information before ordering.
BeforeCode informs the Customer, before order confirmation, of the essential characteristics of the purchase, its price, and its effect on the account or relevant project.
For any question regarding the right of withdrawal applicable to an order, the Customer may contact BeforeCode at the address indicated below.
Purchases made on BeforeCode concern digital services or content applied directly to the Customer’s account or relevant project.
Refunds are not automatic and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
A refund may, in particular, be considered in the event of duplicate payment, obvious error, proven technical malfunction, or inability to correctly apply the purchase made.
Unless contrary mandatory legal provisions apply or an exceptional decision is made by BeforeCode, no convenience refund is granted once the purchased digital benefit has been correctly applied to the account or relevant project.
Any refund request must be sent to BeforeCode at the contact address indicated in these GTCS.
Some digital purchases offered on BeforeCode have immediate effects on the Customer’s account or relevant project.
The following rules apply, unless contrary mandatory legal provisions apply or an exceptional decision is made by BeforeCode in the event of a proven issue:
BeforeCode implements reasonable measures to ensure the accessibility and proper operation of its digital services.
However, BeforeCode cannot be held liable for damage resulting from temporary service unavailability, technical incompatibility, improper use of the platform, or an event outside its reasonable control.
The Customer remains solely responsible for their use of projects, wireframes, and content created through BeforeCode.
BeforeCode reserves the right to change its offers, prices, and these GTCS at any time.
The applicable GTCS are those in force at the time of order.
These GTCS are subject to the applicable law in the country where the service is operated, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact BeforeCode first in order to seek an amicable solution.
